The Michigan Department of Natural Resources annually auctions off parcels of the state in its ongoing effort to "efficiently manage public land." This year's list of available properties includes 147 parcels ranging in size from less than an acre to 160 acres. The land is located in 22 counties, with some of the largest parcels found in Alpena, Dickenson and Newaygo counties.
