Valentine’s Day events and places to go in and around Dayton

                        

Here is a guide to Valentine’s Day events and specials in the Gem City and beyond.

• The Foundry Valentine’s Weekend: The Foundry in Dayton will offer a special menu on Valentine’s Day. For $80 per person, guests will be served a four-course meal and a selection of cocktails. Pizza will also be offered.

• Valentine’s Day Chocolate Social: Nonprofit organization Have a Gay Day Dayton is set to host a chocolate social for Valentine’s Day. This event will feature games, prizes, candy and more

• Subterranean Valentine’s Day Fan Appreciation Show: Local band Subterranean will host a free concert on Valentine’s Day at the Oregon Express in Dayton.

• Brio Italian Grille Valentine’s Day Dinner For Two: Brio Italian Grille at the Greene will offer a three-course meal for couples on Valentine’s Day. Featuring a salad, entrée and dessert, guests can dine in or take this meal to go.

• RiverScape MetroPark Ice Rink Sweetheart Skate: The ice rink at RiverScape MetroPark will host a special “Sweetheart Skate” event on Valentine’s Day. For $20, guests will receive two tickets to the rink, two cups of hot chocolate and a box of chocolates from Winans. Classic love songs will be played during the night.

                        

• Queer Romance Mixer: Valentine’s Edition: The Barrel House in Dayton will team up with LGBTQ+ art and event company Heartsiq for a Valentine’s Day mixer. Featuring games, a DJ and more, this event is open to couples and those looking for a relationship.

• Dewberry 1850 Valentine’s Day Celebration featuring Joe + Tori: Dewberry 1850, the restaurant inside the Marriott at the University of Dayton, will feature musical duo Joe + Tori during its Valentine’s Day celebration.

• Hell’s Dungeon ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ Valentine’s Day haunted house: Hell’s Dungeon in Dayton will host its annual Valentine’s Day event Friday and Saturday. On Saturday, it will also host its 15th annual murder mystery dinner. Guests purchasing tickets for the dinner will also receive admission for the haunt.

• Valentine’s Day at the Melting Pot: Melting Pot in Dayton will offer a four-course experience to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Guests will be able to choose from a variety of cheese fondues, salads, entrees and chocolate fondues.

• Mills Park Hotel Valentine’s Day Dinner: The Mills Park Hotel in Yellow Springs will offer a special Valentine’s Day experience for couples. For $99, guests will choose from a curated selection of soups, salads, entrees and desserts.
