High school graduating classes in Michigan are getting smaller, and so is the enrollment at state universities. For the seventh year in a row, public university enrollment dropped in Michigan. It is now down to 286,854 students from a high of 301,919 students in 2011. This year's numbers are down nearly 4,000 from last year.
