Republican-backed spending bills set stage for renewed budget talks

Dantonio to be deposed in lawsuit after season

As the Michigan State football team prepares for a big game Saturday at Wisconsin, coach Mark Dantonio already has been handed a win and a loss this week in the courtroom. A judge ruled in favor of allowing him to wait until the end of the season before being deposed in the Curtis Blackwell (pictured) lawsuit. However, he will be subject to questioning for up to the full seven-hour maximum. MORE
