Ex-Michigan State University dean tied to Nassar arraigned on misconduct charges 
The Larry Nassar scandal at Michigan State University took a surprising turn Tuesday with the arraignment of William Strampel, Nassar's former boss, on multiple misconduct charges. Authorities acting on a "credible tip" seized materials related to Strampel, the former dean of the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. Strampel's work computer was found to contain approximately 50 photos of "bare vaginas," nude women, semi-nude women, sex toys and pornography. In addition, four women have come forward to allege Strampel sexually harassed them. MORE

Flint water crisis researcher testifies in defense of Michigan chief medical executive
 
Virginia Tech professor Marc Edwards who helped bring the Flint water crisis to the forefront was back in a Michigan court Tuesday, this time to testify during the preliminary examination of Michigan's chief medical executive Dr. Eden Wells. Edwards said he saw no evidence of Wells having committed crimes. She is facing potential charges including involuntary manslaughter related to Legionnaires' disease outbreaks in the Flint area.
