Flint mayor Karen Weaver disputes EPA official's claim that water is safe

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says Flint's water supply is safe for consumption. But Flint mayor Karen Weaver isn't ready to agree. After years of living through the water crisis, Weaver is holding firm on her demand that all water pipes are replaced before she's ready to declare the water is safe. But this is the new Cabrera. A knee injury will keep him from playing the field the rest of the year. And his power stroke isn't what it used to be. The Tigers will keep paying him until 2023, so there's still a decent chance his already Hall of Fame numbers look even more gaudy by the time he hangs it up. They'll be kickin' it old school this weekend in Muskegon. Memories of (and campers from) yesteryear will fill P.J. Hoffmaster State Park for the eighth annual Vintage Camper Gathering. Those who attend can check out more than 100 trailers built between the 1930s and 1980s. You can even take a look inside these nostalgia-mobiles. Perhaps you'll spot some shag carpet. Groovy. MORE
