Flooding hits southeast Michigan, closes roads with more rain on way 
 
The month of May got off to a wet and dangerous start for parts of Michigan. Flooding across much of southeast Michigan closed numerous roads and even had officials in Dearborn Heights considering an emergency declaration. Officials across the region also were reminding residents not to attempt driving into standing water. MLive chief meteorologist Mark Torregrossa has the latest weather report. MORE

'Michigan's Woodstock' promoter, longtime Detroit DJ dies at 87
 
Russ Gibb was an over-the-top radio disc jockey at WKNR-FM in Detroit. Known as "Uncle Russ," Gibb was linked to the infamous "Paul is Dead" rumor regarding the Beatles in 1969. He also was the longtime operator of Detroit's famed Grande Ballroom. And in 1970, he helped book the acts for the Goose Lake International Music Festival, a.k.a. Michigan's Woodstock. Gibb died Tuesday at 87. MORE
