Ford Motor Co.'s return to Detroit celebrated with ceremony at train station
Ford Motor Co. returned to the city of Detroit earlier this year for the first time in decades. Then last week the company made an even bigger splash in purchasing the dilapidated Michigan Central Station. On Tuesday, Ford unveiled its grand vision for the iconic train station during an on-site ceremony before thousands in rapt attention. Ford President and CEO Jim Hackett laid out a plan for the venerable station, which stood vacant for 30 years in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood. Restoring the property is expected to take three to four years. Eventually, Ford's new Central Station campus will include office space for 2,500 Ford employees, room for 2,500 workers from other businesses, and retail, residential and community spaces. MORE

126 Nassar victims sign letter urging Engler to resign MSU presidency

The rising chorus opposed to former Michigan governor John Engler's leadership at Michigan State University now includes more than 120 victims of Larry Nassar. The women have joined a pair of MSU trustees and numerous state lawmakers who are calling for Engler's ouster. From the beginning, Engler was a controversial pick as interim university president, tasked with steering MSU through the aftermath of the Nassar sexual abuse scandal. However, he's come under increased fire since suggesting in an email last week that Rachael Denhollander, the first Nassar victim to publicly accuse him of sexual abuse, was taking a "kickback" from an attorney. This Michigan castle could be your next home

It isn't everyday that a castle hits the Michigan housing market - let alone, a well-kept, massive "modern medieval" castle with a six-story tower and a "dungeon." The 91-year-old Helmer Castle was built by an eccentric concert violinist - the son of a wealthy Jackson banker - and is surrounded by 20 acres of forested seclusion. The current owners have lived there since 1982 and listed the property for a shade over $600,000. Darko isn't alone on list of Pistons' worst draft picks of the past 20 years

We all know about Darko Milicic, one of the biggest draft day busts in all of sports. (Special shoutout to Tony Mandarich. Oof! At least he went to the Green Bay Packers.) Milicic's potential was off the charts. But his reality made him one of Joe Dumars' worst decisions as Detroit Pistons general manager. To be fair to Dumars, drafting is an inexact science, and the Pistons did win the 2004 NBA title with Milicic on their roster. Unfortunately, Milicic isn't the only draft day bust for the Pistons the past 20 years.
