Former MSU President Lou Anna Simon to face trial on felony charges, judge rules
 
A judge has ruled there is enough evidence to send former Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon to trial on felony charges of lying to police. The charges stem from the Larry Nassar case. Nassar, a former MSU doctor, molested hundreds of patients and Simon is accused of lying to the authorities about her knowledge of his crimes. The next step in the case will come in December when Simon is arraigned on the charges -- two felonies and two misdemeanors. MORE

GM plants in Michigan, across country back on line after national strike

Workers were back to their normal routines at GM plants across the country Monday, according to officials for the automaker. The return to business-as-usual came less than three days after a new contract with the United Auto Workers was ratified, ending a lengthy strike. 'Somewhere in Time:' Jane Seymour dishes on Mackinac Island love
 
If you have never watched "Somewhere in Time," you are missing a Michigan classic. The film, starring Jane Seymour and and Christopher Reeve, was set on Mackinac Island. Seymour returned to the island over the weekend to meet with fans and enjoy the beloved vacation spot with her family. They took full advantage, too, it appears.
