Closed factory may become Michigan's latest Superfund site hat  More than 1,000 containers of chemicals were removed in 2015 from a decades-old factory in Jackson. The federal clean up effort didn't rid the site of all contaminants though. In 2018, testing by the state found PFAS leaking from the property.
