The Lions have the worst defense in the NFL. Aaron Glenn is determined to fix it. |
Last place:The Lions defense now ranks dead last in the league on third down and in the red zone. They’ve allowed the most yards, and the most points too. The 141 points they’ve allowed in the first month of the season not only is worst in the league by 26 points, but also a franchise record. Aaron Glenn says: "Listen, I wish I could have a magic wand and this whole deal will be fixed right now, all right? But that’s just not reality. So there’s things that we still have to get right in this defense, and we will get it right. And our guys clearly see it, and they clearly see how it all works together."
More football action: Our sports writers have predictions for all the Big Ten games this weekend, including Michigan at Indiana and Ohio State at Michigan State. |

Along the way, there’s so much to stop and explore — the confluence of two rivers, 19 parks, the Impression 5 Science Center and even a zoo.
