GM reinstates health insurance to striking UAW members

The strike between United Auto Workers and General Motors has been going on since Sept. 16. When it started, GM suspended health, vision and dental benefits to employees on strike. However, the company reinstated those benefits Thursday. In other strike news, the UAW submitted a proposal to GM on Wednesday, and the two sides were back at the negotiating table the following day. MORE
