Family members and friends, colleagues and constituents all lined up Monday to pay final respects for John Dingell. It is the first in a series of memorial services this week for the WWII veteran who served in Congress for nearly 60 years. Dingell, the longest serving member of Congress in U.S. history died Thursday at 92. His casket was draped with an American flag at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. U.S. Rep. Candice Miller, a Macomb County Republican, spoke of Dingell's impact. "When you think about what an incredibly impactful life that he had -- the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species (Act), various issues he got involved in. He was a true warrior."
