Michiganders are accepting the assistance in record numbers. In the past month alone, the Michigan Tobacco Quitline received more than 11,000 calls of inquiry. Newest Lion Daniels: 'Thank God I got cut'

Wait. What? The Green Bay Packers unceremoniously dumped defensive lineman Mike Daniels in a cost-cutting move. The Detroit Lions then swooped in and signed the former pro bowler. (Theo Riddick was cut in a corresponding move.) The newest Lion could not be more pleased. Apparently, he loves coach Matt Patricia and thinks he's a football genius. It is kind of refreshing. Saugatuck chain ferry a summertime tradition
 
Michigan has an abundance of summertime destinations. The lovely little hamlet of Saugatuck is right up there with the best of 'em. The quaint downtown near the mouth of the Kalamazoo River is lined with boutiques and eateries. Lake Michigan is just over the dunes.
