'People are on their own' to find legal marijuana   As of today, recreational marijuana is legal in Michigan for adults 21 and over. (Take a moment and breathe that fact in!) However, don't expect to see bong parties on every city corner. Pot remains illegal to use in public, and good luck finding it. Land in 20 counties available in DNR auction   Now is your chance to say yes to owning your very own beautiful piece of Michigan wilderness. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources occasionally puts up parcels of land for sale. Next week, 81 plots - ranging in size from 1 acre to 160 acres - will be up for auction. The DNR has identified these parcels as isolated from other land managed by the agency, thus making them difficult to manage. MORE
