One-eyed dog lost near Pictured Rocks makes it home in time for Christmas
When their beloved dog went missing near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore a little more than a week before Christmas, Sarah Cortez and Alex Beyer thought they were in for a somber holiday. Old Saint Nick clearly had other plans. Ein, the couple's one-eyed husky, was reunited with his owners in time for Christmas thanks to a sharp-eyed couple who spotted the pooch a week after he went missing. Film crew shooting movie at Ann Arbor-area farm
 
A Michigan farm will serve as the backdrop of an upcoming film based on Algonquian oral traditions. "The Windigo," a $2.5-million film, was being shot at Misty Farm near Ann Arbor. The film is based on a supernatural, cannibalistic monster that, when summoned, is "brought as a defense against wrongdoers." But of course, that likely won't go according to plan in the film. MORE

Santa visits Michigan on the back of a Harley
 
Santa traded his sleigh for a motorcycle before making his Michigan stops this year. Santa, also known as Chet Bristow, rode around Jackson in full holiday regalia to spread Christmas cheer ahead of the holiday.
