Michigan launches effort to combat spreading coronavirus
 
As coronavirus cases climb in China and the virus makes its way to other countries, Michigan officials say they are working to combat the health threat. There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus within the state, but the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services sees the illness as a large-scale health threat worthy of activation of its Community Health Emergency Coordination Center. The goal of the effort is to provide consistent information and guidelines to health officials statewide. MORE

As Michigan real estate values rebound, property tax revenues lag
