It's been nearly three months since many restaurants across Michigan have seen their customers. It's been nearly three months since many of them have made a dime. And now, as of today, they are allowed to reopen. But this is not the same world as it was when they first closed their doors. Their customers' needs - and the industry itself - has changed. So while restaurants have yearned to reopen, it doesn't mean they're ready. There's no shortage of obstacles for reopening - bringing employees back, rearranging a socially-distanced interior, keeping everything sanitized. We went out and spoke with restaurant owners who were willing to speak openly about their anxieties, their excitement and the changes they've made. MORE
