The memories of college days of yore were strong for our Michigan's Best crew this fall. So much so, they just had to make pilgrimages to four of our state's biggest college campuses in search of the food that makes each so unique. Our search for the Best College Eats took us back to some old haunts and introduced us to some new (to us) favorites. It was a condensed search, but it was no less wonderful to visit the pubs and eateries that hold such dear places in the hearts of college students, graduates and fans alike. MORE

Oakland County turning blue a main reason Schuette lost election 
 
Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Schuette had lost just one major election before Gretchen Whitmer handed him a nine-point defeat on Nov. 6. We take a look at how Schuette, who's enjoyed a lengthy political career in Michigan going back decades, lost the race. One reason was that while a blue wave didn't materialize everywhere in the country, it certainly did here. That was especially true for Oakland County, as the former Republican stronghold decisively turned blue. MORE

Catholic Diocese publishes list of priests accused of sexual abuse
 
The Catholic Diocese of Gaylord has created an online list of priests and deacons who have been "credibly accused" of sexual abuse of a minor. The list begins in 1971, and it features 10 priests, eight of whom are deceased. The diocese said it released the information because it "may be helpful to the healing process for victim-survivors." MORE
