Michigan's liquor buyback program has resulted in the state purchasing $3.3 million in spirits from bars and restaurants. The program was started as a way to financially help businesses struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. Bars have been temporarily shut down and restaurants can't provide dine-in services. The businesses have 90 days from the end of the state of emergency to buy the spirits back from the state.
