Urgent PFAS response not guaranteed at Michigan schools

School is back in session across Michigan. But at some school systems, PFAS chemicals in the water supply never left. Nearly 20,000 people at 60 schools were exposed last year to at least trace amount of PFAS contaminants found in school water supplies. It would have been comical if it hadn't been so painful watching him post a .400 winning percentage. But, gosh darn it, he's back at it this year. Can't keep a good Josh down. No sir! On the Detroit Lions beat, Kyle Meinke and "new guy" Ben Raven predict the winners of every Lions game this season. MORE

Letter from the Editor: It won't be the 'same ol' Lions' coverage this year

Same ol' Lions is a familiar refrain along these shores. Michiganders over the years have endured plenty of disappointment thanks to their unwavering loyalty to the boys in Honolulu blue. Count our John Hiner among them. However, casting aside the SOL refrain and the emotional scars, Hiner is bullish on our coverage game plan. MORE
