Michigan's attorney general wants President Biden to 'cancel student debt once and for all.' |
'Cancel student debt:' That's what Attorney General Dana Nessel wants from President Joe Biden, and she's not alone. A coalition of eight state attorneys general sent a letter to Biden urging him to eliminate $1.7 billion in federal student debt. Biden's considering a plan: The president is reportedly eyeing a plan to forgive a minimum of $10,000 per borrower. Meanwhile some Democratic lawmakers want the administration to go further by eliminating $50,000. The student debt freeze: At the beginning of the pandemic, federal student loan payments were frozen as many Americans faced financial uncertainty. The draft has become a prime-time spectacle, and the league asks teams to take their time making their picks to help make for more compelling TV.
