Senator holds field hearing on PFAS in Michigan    Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich, convened a two-hour hearing Tuesday in Grand Rapids about the state of PFAS contamination in Michigan. Peters heard from two panels of witnesses, including Robert Delaney, a geologist with the Michigan DEQ who in 2010 discovered PFAS contamination at the former Wurtsmith Air Force base in Oscoda. Delaney testified he felt like "Chicken Little" when he wrote his report in 2012 about the potential public health crisis PFAS posed. Ex-MSU recruiting director suing Dantonio, other school officials hat Former Michigan State recruiting director Curtis Blackwell filed a lawsuit Monday claiming football coach Mark Dantonio, former athletic director Mark Hollis and former school president Lou Anna K. Simon fired him in retaliation for his lack of cooperation with a school sexual assault investigation.
