Contract negotiations between United Auto Workers members and General Motors broke down over the weekend. On Monday, nearly 50,000 GM workers from across the nation, including from 13 Michigan plants, took to picket lines. We collected photos, videos and interviews from the strike at sights across the state. GM has more than 14,000 hourly Michigan employees at facilities in Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Bay City, Orion, Brownstown Township, Romulus, Warren and Lansing.
