Michigan surpasses 15,000 coronavirus cases, with 617 deaths reported   There are now 15,718 confirmed cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 in Michigan. An additional 1,493 cases were reported by the state Sunday. It's a small increase in the number of new cases compared to Saturday's report, but significantly fewer new cases than officials reported on Friday. TCF Center in Detroit turned into field hospital for COVID-19 patients     Crews have been busy inside the TCF Center in downtown Detroit, working to make the large venue into a field hospital for patients with coronavirus. There will be 1,000 beds inside the facility, used to supplement capacity at area hospitals.
