It's cold. There's snow. Why not give in and just celebrate all that is cold and snowy and wonderful? The annual Zehnder's Snowfest returns Wednesday with winter festivities on tap through the weekend and into Monday in downtown Frankenmuth. The festival, in its 28th year, features competitive snow and ice sculpting, fireworks and children's activities, not to mention a beer, ahem, warming tent that offers a welcome break from the cold. Speaking of cold, the weather should play nicely with this year's event. After a brief warm up today through Wednesday, temps should dip back down into prime ice sculpting territory. MORE |
