Final Four! Michigan State upsets Duke in Elite Eight thriller

What a game! Michigan State upset the No. 1 overall seed Duke 68-67 on Sunday in an Elite Eight matchup that lived up to the hype. Kenny Goins hit a crucial three-pointer with just over 30 seconds left in the game to push the Spartans past the vaunted Blue Devils and star player Zion Williamson. The win has MSU barreling toward its first Final Four appearance since 2015. Duke had eliminated MSU from the NCAA tournament five times before Sunday's match-up, making Sunday's win that much nicer for Spartan Nation. MSU will meet Texas Tech on Saturday in the national semifinal. Buckle up! MORE

See preservation effort at historic U.P. lodge

A historic Upper Peninsula lodge is looking might spiffy these days. Birch Lodge in Trout Lake has undergone a preservation and remodeling effort, and the results are stunning. One update of note is the restoration of its 100-foot-long porch. The inn, which opened in 1912, is about 30 minutes north of St. Ignace. MORE
