State House inquiry finds MSU failed to protect students, patients from Nassar
The Michigan House released its findings Thursday from its inquiry into how Michigan State University has handled its involvement in the Larry Nassar scandal. In a word: poorly. The House found MSU policies were inadequate and/or not sufficiently enforced, creating an environment in which Nassar could ply his sexual misconduct. One lawmaker described MSU's conduct as "a failure to every survivor of sexual assault." MORE

GM, Ford reportedly set to kill off small car models

So, maybe it should come as little surprise both Ford and General Motors are on the verge of scrapping low-margin vehicle models. A report in the Wall Street Journal suggests the GM Sonic, Ford Fiesta and Ford Taurus are on the chopping block. Other models with murky futures include the Chevy Impala and the Ford Fusion.
