Democrats add staff in Michigan as presidential primary approaches   As the 2020 elections approach, Democrats are pouring money into Michigan, along with other states considered vital to taking the White House in November. The Democratic National Committee announced millions of dollars of investment into six swing states, where they are funding organizer positions and opening field offices.
