Survivors of the deadly 2016 Kalamazoo bicycle crash testify in murder trial
It has been nearly two years since the horrific events of June 7, 2016 claimed the lives of five members of a Kalamazoo area bicycle group. On Thursday, the four survivors of the tragedy took the stand in the murder trial of Charles Pickett Jr., the man accused of plowing his vehicle into the group of nine cyclists. Each of the survivors described the injuries they sustained in the crash, and the struggles they've dealt with since. Pickett faces five counts of second-degree murder, five counts of operating while under the influence causing death and four counts of operating while under the influence causing serious injury. MORE

Ford making definitive move away from cars
 
Ford Motor Company has plans to drastically reduce its footprint in the sedan market. On the same day Ford reported 2018 first quarter net income of $1.7 billion, the company announced its intention to phase out production of its Fusion, Taurus and Fiesta car models by 2020. Ford also plans to cut $11 billion in operating costs and $5 billion in expenditures over the next few years. MORE
