These are the 10 best burgers in Michigan Burger lovers, get your maps ready. You have some trips to take. The MLive Michigan's Best team of Amy Sherman and John "Gonzo" Gonzalez had a hiccup shortly after hitting the road for their Michigan's Best Burger search earlier this year. COVID-19 put a months-long pause on the search, but recently they were able to get back out to Michigan restaurants, sampling great burgers. Now, they provide this list of the 10 best burgers found across the state in 2020. From small towns eateries to city staples, Gonzo and Amy found some stellar sandwiches all over the place. So, get ready to put some miles on your car if you want to visit all of these award-worthy restaurants. In a series of tweets, Trump suggested widespread absentee voting will cause “the most inaccurate and fraudulent election in history.” Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was one of many public officials who responded to the tweets, claiming the president is more concerned about his chances of winning the election than with voter safety. Head to the Upper Manistee Headwaters: The Milock Family Preserve on the north branch of the Manistee River. The land, a former Boy Scout camp, has a Kalkaska address but is located east of town. There are six miles of non-motorized trails throughout the preserve, open for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and “cruiser” style biking. And while camping and boating aren't allowed, in order to preserve the land, fishing is allowed, as long as anglers don't leave behind bait.
