The poll, which gathered information from 32,000 Americans, found that 30% of Michiganders are opposed to school closings related to the COVID-19 pandemic. That's higher than the national average, which shows 26% opposition. Michiganders were also less likely to support the closure of restaurants and bans on large gatherings, the poll found. Ballots must arrive at the clerk's office by 8 p.m. on election night to be counted. With potential delays in mail delivery, officials say your best bet now is to travel to your clerk's office, where you can make sure the ballot is received in time.
