Two Michigan DEQ officials take pleas in day-after-Christmas Flint water deals
Two Michigan Department of Environmental Quality officials on Wednesday agreed to cooperate with Flint water prosecutors. Michael Prysby, a DEQ engineer who worked for Busch, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor and agreed to testify for special prosecutor Todd Flood. About an hour later, Stephen Busch, a DEQ environmental supervisor, made an agreement before Judge David Goggins in an unscheduled court appearance. MORE

19-story high-rise proposed in Ann Arbor
 
Ann Arbor's downtown skyline could get a sightly addition in the near future. Plans are in the works for a 19-story high-rise behind the Michigan Theater in downtown Ann Arbor. The new building would be one of the tallest in the city if approved by the City Council. The development would take place on Washington Street where, currently, four rental houses and a small commercial building stand. MORE
