Michigan men's basketball coach John Beilein takes his NBA shot
 
Maybe Michigan Wolverines fans should have seen this coming. Men's basketball head coach John Beilein flirted with the NBA in the past. (Just last year he interviewed for the Detroit Pistons job.) But Monday's announcement that the most successful coach in program history was leaving for the NBA certainly was a stunner. Beilein, 66, signed a five-year deal to coach the Cleveland Cavaliers. No matter how you slice it, his departure leaves a gaping void in Ann Arbor that won't easily be filled. Thanks, Coach B, for a wonderful 12-year run. MORE
