Westboro Baptist Church members make stops in West Michigan, CMU
Members of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church paid a visit to Grand Rapids on Tuesday morning, presumably on their way to Mount Pleasant, where a church spokesperson was to meet with a CMU communications law class later in the day. Church members protested at Grand Rapids Union High School, waving their standard assortment of posters adorned with anti-homosexuality and God's condemnation rhetoric. Counter protesters also showed up, but police on hand kept a watchful eye and no incidents were reported. MORE
