As the number of Michigan residents who have tested positive for the coronavirus COVID-19 increases, more local residents have stories about testing, symptoms and the overall impact of the virus. Erin Moore's story involves two emergency room visits, a wait for results and lots of uncertainty. She recalls waking up in the middle of the night and panicking because she couldn't catch her breath. But Moore still doesn't know if she has coronavirus. Michigan coronavirus cases now at 1,791 with 24 deaths
 
Michigan saw its largest daily increase of confirmed coronavirus cases to date on Tuesday when state officials released their latest numbers. More counties are reporting confirmed cases throughout the state as the total  number of cases jumped by 34 percent in one day. According to epidemiologist Emily Martin, the large increases will likely continue. "It's because we're filling in the gaps with data," Martin said.  MORE

Kevin Sundberg and Kelly George planned a wedding that would include 150 family members and friends, a six-piece band and a party bus. Then the coronavirus pandemic hit and it became clear their wedding plans were no longer feasible.
