If you are a bear, the start of March, and really the last week of February was very pretty. We now have a lower low in March than we did in February, and if the ES futures drop below 5809.00 then we will have a new low of the year. I don’t think the bulls enjoy the move quite as much.
Below that 5809.00 the next major support would be the November low at 5724.25 and the October low at 5724.00. Past those levels keep an eye on the September open at 5656.25 and the September low at 5394.00.
Be aware of the topside numbers as well, like 5949.25. The wide ranges indicate a level of indecision, even though it is a bit negave for now.
Key News and Probabilities
The big news this week will be the employment report on Friday.
Probabilities for the week are mixed. I think we might have some more buying than what the probabilities are showing.
