Market Review - S&P Futures
CPI and PPI will show up later in the week. So far this week we have been down to 6014.00 and up to 6096.00. That puts the midpoint of the week at 6055.00 which is just 5 points above Friday’s close.
This is the week of the Fed Chair’s Semi Annual testimony. Today Chair Powell
is before the Senate Banking Committee, and tomorrow he will be in front of
the House Financial Committee.
Chair Powell’s prepared statement aside, members of both the Senate and the House will attempt to engage Mr. Powell into a critique of administrave actions, and Mr. Powell will likely decline to comment.
