The market is trying to do two things. The first is to stay above Thursday’s low at 6056.50. If the market can manage that feat then we will go into February with an uptrend intact. The market has already surpassed Thursday’s high. The second thing the market is looking to do today will be an a$empt to push to and through the December high at 6163.75. If for some reason the first two opons do not happen, then the failsafe is to simply stay above the open of the year at 5949.25 and simply close higher than the open of January.
