While a police officer tried to save five teenagers from a burning car after a wrong-way driver crashed into them, a man sped away in his police cruiser, hitting seven more cars and sending five other people to the hospital.

Earlier Monday, Samsung halts sales and exchanges of its fire-prone phone during an investigation of the Galaxy Note 7's problems with batteries. It had also encouraged consumers to power down and stop using the phones entirely.

In an interview from jail, Amber Pasztor admitted she killed her 6-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter because she wanted them to be "with God and be better off." She said she also shot and killed her 66-year-old neighbor.
