Most Louisiana voters approve of Jeff Landry, poll shows

BY JESSICA WILLIAMS | Capitol News Bureau Editor

Voters back Landry: About 56% of voters approve of Gov. Jeff Landry's approach in his first 100 days in office, a poll by The Times-Picayune | The Advocate shows. Tyler Bridges has the details.

Concealed carry: Per that same poll, most voters think Landry and state lawmakers went too far in passing a law to allow people 18 and older to carry concealed firearms without a permit, John Simerman reports.

THC ban?: In 2019, the state opened the door for a $33 million hemp THC industry. Now, lawmakers, citing the ubitiquity and danger of the products, are weighing restrictions, James Finn reports.
