As we prepare for MozFest 2021, we’re excited to announce this year’s Spaces that organize our thoughts, conversations, and work towards an internet that is open and inclusive.
Think of Spaces at MozFest as mini-festivals. Within each Space, participants can find everything they need: interactive community-led sessions, inspiring talks, social circles, and collaborative opportunities everywhere you turn. Multiple activities are scheduled at any one time so that even within a Space, attendees can choose their own adventure.
This year, MozFest has eleven Spaces. Your donation of any size is your ticket for admission – pay what you can to attend MozFest and no one will be turned away. For those who are interested in supporting the festival’s exciting programming, and helping people attend who otherwise couldn’t because of economic or other barriers, patron and benefactor tickets are also available. 2. Get to know Amsterdam: In part 3 of our MozFest Local spotlight series, learn about Osvaldo Kanga, founder of BBFinder, and the app that assists consumers to find, rate, and support Afrocentric businesses and connect their communities.
3. Weekly Read: Mozilla's latest Internet Health Report is hot off the presses. Race, labor, and power are at the heart of this year's report, which includes over 100 internet health experts and activists sharing their vision for a healthier internet. You'll have the opportunity to interact with the people and stories behind the report at MozFest!
4. Share your thoughts: Mozilla’s Fellowships and Awards team is reflecting on 2020, with the goal of strengthening our program and community in 2021 and we want to hear from you how we can improve. We invite you to complete this 5-10 minute survey by 15 February to let us know what you think.
