| | | | Hi there,
From online hangouts with friends, to rampant misinformation, since 2020 the internet has helped us and harmed us like never before.
We’ve seen glimmers of how the internet can help us connect, heal and inform. Some days it felt like we could be on the cusp of something different, something better.
That’s why, last year, thousands of you shared your letters of appreciation for the internet: thanking it for helping us survive one of the wildest years of our collective lives.
So, what have you loved about the internet this year? Take a minute to share a quick love letter to the internet and help to show why it’s such a powerful force for good. We know the internet can be a force for good, it already is for millions of us around the world. But right now, it’s more than a little sick.
As vaccines are rolled out unequally across the world, and societal divides deepen everywhere, we’ve seen the internet magnify these harms, help to incite hatred, and spread misinformation like wildfire.
As we try to nurse the internet back into health, we want to send it some love and show everyone why it’s worth fighting for. Who knows who you’ll inspire to join the fight to protect it?
Now, join us in sharing a love letter to the internet — it takes just 2 minutes: Thanks so much for sharing some love! We’re so glad you’re with us.
