Gov. Tim Walz wants $276 million in state funds for affordable housing. It’s part of his bonding proposal. “Every man, every woman, every Minnesotan, every child — without exception — deserves a safe, affordable and dignified place to call home,” Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan says.


Want to work for the DNR? As KARE 11 reports, the state agency wants 200 paid college interns this summer. It pays $15 an hour for 20-40 hours per week of work. 


St. Paul public libraries want you to read about climate change. It’s part of their annual Read Brave program. The library’s director gave Climate Cast some reading recommendations on the topic.

A crime wave is lapping at the undersides of cars, trucks and SUVs across the Twin Cities, as police field dozens of reports of catalytic converter thefts.  St. Paul police say 70 vehicles have lost the auto parts since just the beginning of December.

Moorhead seeks to thwart turkey takeover
The wild turkey population in Moorhead isn’t new, but it is growing.
