Get ready for an impeachment vote this week. Minnesota Democratic Reps. Angie Craig and Colin Peterson are among the members of the House who will likely vote on impeachment this week. Craig says she will vote yes. Peterson says he will likely vote no. The House plans to vote Wednesday on articles of impeachment against President Trump and, as the AP reports, it’s expected to play out along party lines, for the most part.
“Our first nation's people continue to suffer and are sleeping outside tonight.” That was the message of a Native American activist group that says Minneapolis leaders haven’t done enough to help the city’s homeless population. If their demands for culturally specific help for Native people experiencing homeless aren’t met, they say they’ll set up another permanent encampment.
The BCA is investigating a fatal police shooting in Minneapolis. It happened early Sunday morning on the city’s north side. Details are scant, but officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call that ended in them firing several shots at a man.
