Good morning and welcome to a new week. Here’s what you need to know to start your day.

A cloudy Monday. And in the Twin Cities, the morning will see patchy and freezing fog with highs in the mid 30s. Statewide, highs in the upper 20s to upper 30s. Overnight, temps drop slightly and the North has a slight chance of freezing drizzle and snow. More on Updraft. | Forecast

What haunts Children’s Theatre abuse survivors is the idea that it could happen again. MPR News’ Marriane Combs reports that while it may not happen in the same place again, survivors of sexual abuse at the theater fear that the broader community hasn’t changed: “If something happens, the same structures are in place in the same way of, not wanting to stand out and make a claim, looking over your shoulder to see what the other people think when you see something wrong,” one survivor said. “I don't think anything's changed with that. So I can see this happening again. I really can.”

Keep your little ones safe this holiday travel season. Car seats, when installed correctly, can drastically reduce the risk of injury or death in accidents. Here are some pointers to make sure you’re installing the seats properly.

Another Twin Cities mosque was vandalized. This time, it was in the Battle Creek neighborhood of St. Paul. Police are  investigating it as a potential bias crime. “Someone [was] trying to send a message to this community and this mosque.”

The only grocer in a Minnesota town of 21,000 has closed. Heading into Christmas week, Farmington, Minn., doesn’t have a grocery store, as KSTP reports. “It's a public health crisis," Farmington City Council member Joshua Hoyt told the station. "We literally have residents who don't have immediate access to simple things like food and medicine."

What holiday movies do you love (or love to hate)? MPR News with Angela Davis is having a Christmas Eve special of their own. On Dec. 24 at 11 a.m. Angela and movie maven Steph Curtis will be talking about their favorite Christmas movies. Have one you love? One you loath? Share it with us here and it might get discussed on the show.
