BY DOUG GRAHAM | Staff writer A radio ad from the campaign of incumbent Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome has raised the hackles of Democratic challenger Ted James. The spot features James' voice, but his campaign says the recording was secretly made and deceptively edited. The back-and-forth over the ad has worsened the already caustic tone of the campaign. Broome says "the tone of this audio is extremely disturbing," while the James camp calls the ad defamatory and is threatening a lawsuit.
