Question of the Week

Do you volunteer on a regular basis?

Many people chose to make the 16th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks a national day of service by spending the day volunteering. And the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma in recent weeks has inspired many people to help with cleanup efforts—lawyers have mobilized, and even one nun grabbed a chainsaw to clear trees in her neighborhood.

This week, we’d like to ask you: Do you volunteer on a regular basis? Do you donate legal services, or do you help in other ways—serving on community boards, helping at your child’s school, or participating in mentoring programs? Were you once a regular volunteer who can no longer find the time?
