Multidisciplinary medical education

A multidisciplinary approach is crucial for the better management of breast cancer.

All who are active in breast cancer research and clinical care, including advanced trainees are encouraged to join in online forums that apply a multidisciplinary lens to improving outcomes for patients.

Join this fortnightly online meeting showcasing the latest developments in breast cancer related research, locally, nationally and globally. International guest speakers are a regular feature of this forum.

Breast Cancer Education Series
monthly Tuesdays 5.30 - 6.30pm

Gain a greater understanding of how each discipline supports patient care and how they potentially intersect and overlap. Sessions focus on key issues in breast cancer management, including where there is recent change and new directions, and where multidisciplinary decision-making is essential for optimal patient care

Coming soon:
Presenting your patient at a multidisciplinary meeting (MDM) is standard of care when they are first diagnosed with breast cancer and it is at the MDM where some of the most lively - and sometimes controversial - discussions arise as to what treatment approach to take. Join us for some tricky case presentations put to our expert panel comprising surgical, radiology and oncology know-how from the Austin, RMH, Monash Health, The Women's and Peter Mac.
Register here: Tricky cases in breast cancer
