Murder charge for Mohamed Noor, Mpls. cop who shot Justine Ruszczyk
Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor has been charged with third-degree murder in the shooting death of 911 caller Justine Ruszczyk last summer. Noor is facing a third-degree murder charge as well as a second-degree manslaughter count. Don Lucia out as University of Minnesota hockey coach
University of Minnesota Men's Hockey head coach Don Lucia is stepping down after 19 years leading the Golden Gophers. Lucia, 59, won two national championships early in his tenure with Minnesota, but a decline in ticket sales had increased pressure for Lucia to repeat his earlier successes in order to stay on as head coach.
2 accused Bloomington mosque bombers to appear in federal court
Two of the three men accused of bombing a suburban Twin Cities mosque last summer are expected in an Illinois federal courtroom on Wednesday.  Federal prosecutors in Minneapolis last week filed a criminal complaint charging Michael Hari, 47, and alleged accomplices Michael McWhorter, 29, and Joe Morris, 22, with maliciously damaging the mosque by means of fire and explosives.

Decline in hunters threatens how U.S. pays for conservation

Dayton vows to veto objectionable MNLARS bill
DFL Gov. Mark Dayton is pledging to veto an emergency funding bill for the troubled Minnesota Licensing and Registration System (MNLARS) if the House position prevails in negotiations. Dayton is willing to accept the version that passed Monday in the Senate.
